These terms govern your use of Stasera (“the Service”), a free tool for tracking the TV shows and films you watch. The Service is operated by Augum Holding AS (organisation number 918 952 128), a company registered in Norway. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

The service

Stasera lets you follow shows and films, mark episodes as watched, and see what to watch next. It is provided free of charge and offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with no service-level commitment.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
  • The Service is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account (or 13 with the consent of a parent or guardian where local law allows).
  • You can close your account at any time. Account deletion is available in the app’s settings and permanently removes your data (see the Privacy Policy).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse, disrupt, or attempt to overload the Service;
  • scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service by automated means;
  • circumvent, disable, or probe any authentication or access-control mechanism, or access data that is not yours;
  • upload import files you do not have the right to use, or that contain anyone else’s personal data;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Content and metadata

Show and film information, artwork, and related metadata are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Such data is provided “as is” and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or change without notice.

Copyright and takedown

Show and film metadata, artwork, and related content displayed in the Service are provided by third-party sources (primarily TMDB) and remain the property of those sources and their respective rights holders. Stasera makes no claim of ownership over this material and caches it only to improve performance.

If you believe that content cached or displayed by the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at hi@stasera.app with a description of the material, its location in the Service, and your contact details. We will investigate and remove or correct infringing material promptly upon a valid request.

AI-generated text

Parts of the Service include short texts written by a language model from facts about your own viewing history. They are generated automatically, are not reviewed by a person before you see them, and may be inaccurate or misleading. Treat them as entertainment rather than as fact, and do not rely on them for any decision that matters. What is sent to the model — and what is never sent — is described in the Privacy Policy.

Your data

Your data remains yours. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can export it or delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. The Service’s own code, design, and branding belong to Augum Holding AS; these terms grant you no right to them.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is free, it may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that harms it, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the app’s settings.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, with Oslo tingrett as the legal venue.
